Sunday Lunch

"[The disciples] ate together with glad and sincere hearts"
(Acts 2:46 NIV)

The early followers of Jesus ate together all the time, and they gave to "anyone who had need" (Acts 2:45 NIV). So over the summer we are going to do just that. Instead of our 3pm service we will be meeting at midday to eat together, look at the bible and discuss what it all means for us today.

Jesus ate... I know! Shocking right!

The wedding feast at Cana, the feeding of the 5000, the last supper, eating on the go, eating with his disciples, eating with with pharisees. Jesus was often found to be eating something, and at each of these moments Jesus taught people something important about his kingdom and what it means to follow him. We expect this will be a season where Jesus teaches us something too.
